A next wave of pop-punk was spearheaded by Blink-182, with their breakthrough album Enema with the State (1999), followed by bands such nearly as good Charlotte, Simple Strategy and Sum forty one, who built use of humour inside their films and experienced a more radio-welcoming tone to their music, although retaining the speed, many of the
